New HSE campaign to reduce 'preventable' slips, trips and falls
The (HSE) has launched a campaign to reduce the number of slips, trips and falls in the UK as it has revealed statistics showing that they are the most common cause of major injuries in British workplaces.
| Property damage | Covers unforeseen loss of or damage to insured property by an insured peril. Values should be based on a reinstatement as new. |

| Business Interruption | Covers financial losses resulting from loss or damage to property by an insured peril for a specified period of time after the event. See Gross Profit and Indemnity Period definitions. |
| Loss of Money | Covers loss of money from the insured premises, at an employee's home or in transit up to specified limits, and includes personal accident and personal effects cover following assault. |
| Trade all Risks | Covers loss or damage to specified property for "All Risks" as defined on the policy anywhere within the geographical limits. Subject to unattended vehicle warranties. |
| Computer | Covers loss or damage to computers and can be extended to include breakdown, reinstatement of data and additional costs of working. Policies usually exclude Virus attacks. |

| Contract Works / Erection All Risks |
Covers physical loss or damage by an insured peril to works in course of erection and the materials, plant, hired in plant, works and equipment associated with the construction. |
| Hired-in Plant | Covers legal liability under a hiring agreement for loss of, or damage to, specified plant and can be extended to include continuing hire charges. |
| Motor | Covers statutory liability under the Road Traffic Act for injury and/or damage to third parties as a result of operating motor vehicles and usually includes theft and damage to own vehicles. Policies will exclude theft when keys are left in/on the vehicle. |
| Engineering All Risks and Business Interruption | Covers loss of or damage to engineering plant and can be extended to include business interruption. |
| Engineering Inspection | Covers statutory inspection of plant under LOLER and PUSWER. |
| Goods in Transit | Covers loss or damage to stock and other property specified whilst in transit or temporarily stored in the course of transit in the UK. There will be a restriction for theft of attractive goods. |
| Marine Cargo | Covers loss or damage to stock and other property outside the UK and/or within the UK in transit or temporarily stored in the course of transit. There will be a restriction for theft of attractive goods. |
| Personal Accident | Covers the payment of agreed amounts following death, permanent and/or temporary disablement of an insured person by an insured event. Certain high risk activities will be excluded. |
| Business Travel | Covers medial expenses, personal accident, cancellation, personal effects and/or money whilst travelling on business. Certain high risk countries will be excluded from policy cover. There will be restrictions on travel if you suffer from existing conditions. |
| Legal Expenses | Covers legal defence costs, including the payments of awards in employment disputes. You must seek advice PRIOR to any action being taken. |
| Fidelity Guarantee | Covers financial loss due to the dishonesty of employees and includes auditors' costs in establishing the amount of the loss. Policies carry strict systems of check. |
| Directors' & Officers' Liability | Covers the personal liability attaching to directors and officers in respect of claims made against them as directors and officers of a business. Policies can be extended to cover the entity. |
| Trustees' Liability | Covers the personal liability attaching to trustees if they are in breach of legislation and the duty owed to their employer company, plan or corporate trustee. |
| Professional Indemnity | Covers legal liability sustained as a result of wrong, negligent or misleading advice or treatment given. Policies are written on a claims made basis with aggregate limits. There are strict claims disclosures at renewal. |
| Cyber Liability | Covers third party liability claims alleging financial loss caused by a wrongful act arising from insured services while performing cyberspace activities, e.g. websites, emails, etc. |
| Environmental Impairment | Covers legal liabilities to third parties for pollution, and clean-up costs for the insured's or third party's site. |
